July in Portland, Oregon, is known for its scorching summer days, but Kaileigh and Austin didn't let the heat deter them from having their very own best day ever.

Blockhouse is an urban oasis nestled in the heart of Portland, offering an intimate and charming space for couples to tie the knot. I’m always straight up thrilled when my clients choose to get married here. Surrounded by lush greenery and a rustic, yet modern ambiance, Blockhouse provided the perfect canvas for their day.

Kaileigh and Austin treated their guests to an all-vegan menu that delighted taste buds and showcased the diversity and deliciousness of plant-based cuisine.

The floral arrangements at this wedding were simply breathtaking. Inspired by the colors of a warm summer sunset, the venue was dressed in vibrant shades of oranges and pinks.

No celebration is complete without great drinks, and Kaileigh and Austin hired Merit Badge, Inc., a renowned bartending service, to ensure that guests enjoyed a variety of craft cocktails and beverages throughout the day. Their impeccable service and mixology skills added a touch of sophistication to the celebration.

The incomparable Brady Bates was behind the lens, capturing every emotion, detail, and candid moment of Kaileigh and Austin's wedding. Brady has since relocated to Palm Springs, CA but is still available to travel. I really love his documentary-style photography, and love the fact that he shoots film as well.

Despite the sweltering 100-degree heat (I’m sweating just thinking about it, haha!) Kaileigh and Austin's wedding day was nothing short of incredible. Their love, the beauty of their surroundings, and the joy of their friends and family kept spirits high, and locked into party mode!
