wedding filmmaker workshop with emma k films

Editorial shoots can be so fun and a chance to really flex some creative muscles with other vendors. A big passion project of mine is being involved in the continued education of photographers and videographers by providing them with high quality content to shoot and add to their portfolios.

Emma Burke of Emma K Films invited me to plan + style her Wedding Filmmaker Workshop, an educational retreat she’s designed for wedding videographers to level up their expertise and content. I’m proud to say this was a sold-out event, with filmmakers traveling from all over the US to learn under Emma.

Shoots are always a much more chill morning than the average wedding day. Chas of Wildflower Portland and I arrived at the same time, and headed up stairs to get everything set. I loved getting to see the design that she brought to life with the little guidance we gave, and it was especially thrilling to hear all of the students be so excited to shoot the set ups we’d provided.
