effortlessly cool griffin house wedding

Madison, Cody, and I bonded over great food, great TV (shout out to Better Call Saul, White Lotus, and Severance!), and great events. Old souls at heart, Madison and Cody knew that they wanted their celebration to have a 70’s feel with PNW touches and great wine.
I can’t quite put into words just how effortlessly cool their demeanor and vibe was and is, but I think their photos will speak for themselves. Madison + Cody hired Brady Bates to capture their day on digital, and then Hannah Marich to capture on film + super 8. We tapped Letters & Dust to create some seriously rad signage, Jodi to create some really whimsical and organic floral arrangements that we later repurposed to around their sweetheart table, John Ross Music to bring the action on the dance floor, Devil’s Food Catering to execute a flawless dinner service, Banquette PDX to bring the sugar, and last but not least Aspen Limo Tours with a supreme limo bus for guest transportation.
The Griffin House is one of my favorite venues in the Hood River area, because you simply cannot beat the views there. Immaculately decorated with nods to the original owner(s) and vibe(s), you simultaneously feel as though you’ve stepped into one of your rich friend’s cool cliffside retreats and also back in time to your grandma’s bathroom in the best way possible (IYKYK).
